Inside the Chewuch Inn, the main lodge has a beautiful great room with a stone fireplace. This is the dining room where we serve our full buffet breakfast. Also a great gathering room for guests in the evening, where you can enjoy a game of cards or a complimentary hot beverage. There are two additional spaces to the great room, a sitting area with TV and movie library, and a comfortable lounging area next to the fireplace. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi.

On sunny afternoons, the lounge chairs on the back patio or the adirondack chairs out in the garden are popular spots to relax and read a book. We offer a variety of reference material such as; birding, hiking guides, and local history books. Additionally, your innkeepers Dan & Sally will help you with suggestions of what to do and where to eat while staying in the beautiful Methow Valley.

Star gazing year round is spectacular. The Methow Valley has dark night skies that allow for an incredible display, especially good in the winter when viewed from our large outdoor hot tub.

Tour the Grounds Of our Methow Valley Inn

The Chewuch Inn sits just one half mile from the downtown corridor of the “Old West” Town of Winthrop, WA. It’s an easy stroll into yesteryear from the Inn, just down the road a couple blocks and across the bridge that spans the beautiful Methow River.

The Chewuch Inn & Cabins sit on five naturally landscaped acres. Ponderosa Pine, Aspen and native plantings cover the property. In the summer a small seasonal creek meanders through the trees making excellent habitat for birds, deer and other Methow Valley wildlife. We also have a small organic orchard and vegetable garden. In the height of harvest season, you will find fresh picked produce & fruit on the breakfast menu.

After a great day of outdoor activities, soothe your tired muscles while watching shooting stars from our large outdoor hot tub. The Methow Valley is known for it’s clear dark skies, especially in the winter. The five acres that surround the Inn offer outdoor spaces to relax either in the sun or under the shade of a tree.
